UNC at Chapel Hill chance?

Hi!!
I live in South Carolina and UNC is tied for my number one school with Washington and Lee! I've already sent in my application and I applied early action. It would be awesome if y'all could chance me! Here are some statistics:

GPA: 4.8 weighted 3.8 unweighted (I have five b's on my transcript but they are all high b's and the rest are solid a's)
Class rank: 15 out of 295 (ish)

IB Diploma candidate 2013
Senior year classes:
IB Biology HL
IB History HL
IB English HL
IB Psychology SL
TOK
AP French (1st semester) IB French SL (2nd semester)
So far I'm doing very well in all my classes!

ACT: Composite 33
English 32
Math 34
Reading 36
Science 28
Writing 8
(I have a 1300 on the SAT but my ACT scores are much better and I'm taking SAT subject tests in October)

Activities:
Varsity competitive cheerleader (9th-12th)
Student government (9th-11th)
National Honors Society (11-12)
School Musicals (10-12)
Church Youth Group (9-12)
Mission trips (9,11)
Girls singing ensemble (11-12)
Palmetto Girls State (summer before 12)
There are a few other things but these are what have taken up most of my time! Cheerleading taking up the majority!

Honors/Awards:
W&L book award recipient
Wofford junior scholar
Furman junior scholar
Columbia college junior scholar
New college junior scholar

Please let me know what you think! I feel like I'm leaving some things off because I don't have my resume right in front of me but if I'm not remembering it, it probably wasn't largely important anyways!

Thanks everyone/anyone!

Your GPA is good and ACT is good enough. I may be wrong but if you have ACT I don't think you need subject tests. Have you thought about ED, maybe to Emory or Vanderbilt. If you are going to pay OOS to UNC maybe other schools may be acceptable to you.

Yes! I've looked at both those schools also. And I don't plan on sending UNC my subject test scores unless they're very very good. The subject tests are really just for w&l.
Thank you so much for your input!

I'd say you're right on target for chapel hill. You've excelled in all areas however UNC can be a real wildcard for out of state people due to NC laws about admittance from in state. I think you're fine but I'm never surprised when people don't get accepted there. Good Luck!

Chance me? Rising Junior Transfer to Chapel Hill

I'm not an expert on OOS (my son is a Soph, in-state) but your numbers look good. As the poster before me said though, for OOS it's a crap shoot. Essay is important.
