| Transfering to Rice?
I'm currently in my freshman year at a large state school, but Rice was the school I really wanted to go to. I was waitlisted last year, but I am going to try and transfer there next year. What does everybody think about my chances? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
Major: Mechanical Engineering (Minor in Spanish)
SAT - did not take (can/should I take it?)
ACT - 32 (Science 29, Math 30, English 34, Reading 35)
HS GPA - 3.95 simple, 4.5 weighted: Rank 10/360
HS Activities - Varsity Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. 3x All-State Band Member. NHS.
Classes have been going good so far this semester, I'll work to make sure my grades are in top shape at semester. Also getting involved in EWB and continuing to play music as a non-major.
