I am also applying to Northeastern (My college choices mainly have to do with rowing), and was wondering if someone could give me my chances for there too

A pretty unique combination for a dual-major.
UVA: High match
NEU: Safety

Could I get a second opinion? Maybe anything I can work on to improve my chances?

Based on your test scores, GPA, and extracurriculars, I'd say you're in! UVA accepts very few out-of-state students, though. I think that will be the biggest thing that would keep you out, but your chances seem pretty darn good to me. |

@theasiansadness I found some acceptance stats from the last couple of years, and it looks like the out of state acceptance rate is around 26% as opposed to roughly 45% for in state.

Looking at this you have a pretty good shot. You should have a well written essay to boost your chances

Maybe I was a bit hard on you because of the OOS factor (high match), but, if you were in-state you would have been a low match.

| Not true.
Over one-thousand out-of-state freshmen enter U-Va every year.
