Virginia Tech College of Engineering

Recently sent my early decision application, I would appreciate if I could be chanced.
Credentials:
4.19 GPA (weighted) only 1 B throughout high school

Act: 27 Composite, Math: 30

First Generation Student, in-state

Senior Year Schedule: AP AB Calculus, AP Economics, AP Literature, Physics, Honors Spanish 5, Advanced Marketing Co-op, US Government

As of right now, straight a's (senior year)

Leadership: Captain/President of a dance team, Treasurer of Spanish Honors Society, Events and Social Responsibilities Chair, Assistant Manager at work (Dunkin' Donuts)

Adequate volunteer hours, along with other extracurricular activities.

Placed 3rd at DECA Regional Competition

Did all 3 personal statements, got positive feedback. As well as letter of recommendaiton

Really? The Engineering program at VT is top-ranked, you guys think I'll be good? Thanks alphabeta11, I really want to be a Hokie, CE527M I didn't do great on my SAT.

What makes you guys think I'll be good?

I don`t know why alphabeta said that, because I agree, VT is an excellent school, especially for engineering. I think it looks really good, especially in-state and first generation.

You'll likely get in. On the slight chance not ED, you'll get deferred and accepted RD. With applying ED, it'll push you higher because they know that they are the school that you want.
