Okay so I'm applying to: Drexel University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, UCLA, UC Irvine, Fordham University, Northeastern University, Boston University, University of Virginia, University of Delaware, and Penn State Main Campus.
SAT's (CR620, M550, W530 )
GPA: 3.53
I was wondering if my Extracurriculars will boost my chances despite my low scores. Any insights?

Do you actually have a lot of hours in any of ECs (besides Girls Scouts)? It seems as if you have an extremely long list of things, none of which you hold major positions in (again with the exception of Girls Scouts) and some of which you were only involved in for one year.

So basically no, I am sorry but your ECs don't compensate. Especially because many colleges basically won't look at you if you are unhooked with grades and scores far below their averages. I don't know a ton about the schools on your list, but I believe Northeastern is a reach, Penn State is a high match and I can't speak to the other schools.

And you know what, it's so weird how the 17 year olds on here seem to think they know everything about everything when clearly they don't. Oh please tell me about your experience as a admissions officer? Pretty please?

Uhhh. I think he was being sarcastic, haha. I would think your stats are pretty good for most of the schools you're applying to, regardless of your extracurriculars (assuming that GPA is unweighted). Girl scouts helps, too. You should be fine!

Oh, well this is awkward. Well, it's hard to tell if one is being sarcastic or not, over the internet. I just assume comments like that are genuinely rude, although I am probably wrong most of the time. Sorry thebestattest! I take back my mean comment!

Thanks for the input trinplenickel! Yes, my GPA in unweighted. I get new SAT results in two days, so hopefully that will give be an extra leg up!

I just saw this and ArtsyGirl wasn't trying to be sarcastic. OP, you've posted on the chances forum quite a lot and I must say that even though I don't usually respond to chance threads your name keeps appearing and after looking through your threads I think you need to understand something- lots of people on CC are rude, yes, but you keep getting annoyed at people for telling you THE TRUTH. It's not malicious if its honest and when you say that 17 year olds aren't qualified to "chance" you or give you accurate predictions as to whether or not you will be admitted, you sound foolish. I say this because YOU decided to come on CC and ask strangers(not admissions officers) about your chances. Most, if not all, of these people are students or parents who don't know much about college admissions other than what they have read(myself included.) So before you claim that people are being rude and aren't qualified to make statements as to whether or not you will be admitted, think about why you decided to post these threads in the first place.
