Transfer into JMU

Hey,

I currently go to VCU as a freshmen and GPA will most likely be a 3.78 for this semester. I want to transfer over to JMU next fall. I was wait-listed in high school with a 3.25 GPA and a 1190 SAT score for reading and math. What are my chances of transferring into Jmu? I heard it was really competitive to transfer over

On JMU's website it says you have to have completed, or be in the process of completing, 24 credit hours to be considered for transfer admissions.
