If your backups to test-optional colleges are ones that aren't, you have a problem. Normally it's because a student doesn't test very well that a test-optional school is attractive to someone. Perhaps your backups are poorly chosen anyway, depending on your scores.

Wake Forest: Match
Bard: Low match

I have an ACT of 26, so I think that score should not be a problem for my safeties. Also, if wake forest is a match, what could be a reach school? Bowdoin, Bates (Both test optional)

Bates and Bowdoin are the "reaches-for-anyone" of the test-optional world.

Although, Bates does have a 43% early decision acceptance rate. I would apply for that if Wake Forest wasn't my first choice. Also, could you suggest me some better safety schools?

I'm only familiar with Bard, and because of your gps and ec's i think you have a very fair shot of getting in!
