I know people who were accepted to Michigan, Vanderbilt, and UVA. You should get into Michigan and Vanderbilt based on your extensive EC's and academics. UVA seems a reach, your ACT is low comparatively. But since you did ED, I should think you won't have to worry one bit.

Alot of people on the main board are not familiar with how competitive Vanderbilt has become. A 32 ACT is the bottom 25%, and you are below that so it will be a reach. But you have a high GPA and you are applying ED so you are in the ballpark - just dont get your hopes up.

UVA is very difficult to get out of state, again you seem to be on the fringe.

I think you have a great shot at Michigan - they seem to be more out-of-state friendly.

Thanks timetodecide. However, you might want to note that the middle 50% ACT for EDI is actually 31-33. The RD range is 33-35, which is what your are referring to.

what do you guys think about UCLA and Berkeley? I have a pretty high UC GPA (4.5) and around top 6-7% so I have ELC (eligibility in local context), something for in-state applicants which denotes that they are in the top 9% of students in CA and assures admission to at least one UC.
