Chance Me For St. Olaf ED II?

Hi! St. Olaf is my top school, and I would LOVE to go there! So here's my stuff:

I attend a HUGE public high school in the Chicagoland area
3.77 unweighted GPA, 4.5 weighted (I have only taken Honors and AP Courses)
103/898 unweighted class rank
83/898 weighted class rank
African-American female hoping to go into physics! (Would've taken AP Physics if it had not been for some scheduling conflicts...)

Here were my classes:

Fresh. Year
Honors Bio
Honors Algebra
Honors World History
Honors Spanish
Honors English
Concert Band (1st chair flute)

Soph. Year
Honors Chem
Honors English
Honors Geometry
Honors Spanish
AP Psych (5 on AP)
Wind Symphony (1st chair flute)

Summer '11: Creative Writing Course at UChicago

Junior Year
AP American History (4 on AP, sadly)
AP English (4 on AP, sadly again)
Honors Trig
Honors Spanish
Honors Physics (I got an A in this class both semesters, hopefully it kind of makes up for not having taken AP)
Wind Ensemble (Third chair, bummer)

Summer '12: AP Biology course at Northwestern

Senior Year:
AP Euro
AP English
AP Calculus AB
AP Spanish
Wind Ensemble (1st chair)

ECs:

-Girl Scout, working on Gold Award
-Marching band (Section Leader)
-Flute Choir (Leader)
-Students for Peace and Justice
-Model U.N.
-Volunteer at Food Pantry
-Church Choir
-Flute player for 7 years

Awards:
AP Scholar
Science National Honor Society
Spanish National Honor Society
Prairie State Achievement Award
National Achievement Semifinalist (don't know if I'm a finalist until January)

Everyone tells me my essays are really good, so I'll take their word on it...
My teachers all like me, so I'm fairly certain they put some wonderful things about me in their recommendations...

Thanks for reading through all of this junk, haha I shall chance back upon request!

I would be shocked if you did not get in to St. Olaf. You have the grades and EC's. You didn't mention your ACT/SAT, but you can check online (or in the Fiske College Guide) on St. Olaf's 25%-75% scores. If you fall in that range (always safer to shoot for their 50% or above), then with everything else, you have a great chance. St. Olaf is a great school, and so is Carleton (same town). Might look into Carleton- you would have a great chance there too, and it is fantastic (my alma mater--biology major; did lots of music there).

Normally, I don't comment for chances threads of smaller schools, since, typically, I don't know that much about that. However, I have a family member attending St. Olaf, and I have to say that I would be very surprised if you did not get accepted. I believe you have an outstanding shot of getting in.

Being from Minnesota I have known many people who did or are attending St. Olaf and honestly in comparison your stats/ec/courses are above and beyond their average students. I definently think that you can get in!
Also, most of my friends who attend there love it! Seems like a really good school.
Good luck!
