Why the hell do you even ask these? You know for sure that no one knows better than you do about chances. Even with a near-perfect transcript, what can we even say?

Being completely honest, it's getting seriously annoying reading endless stats and requests of:

HYSPDCUPCMNW Chances HERE'S MY STATS:

MY STATS:
800 800 800 800 800 800 790(OH NO) 720(MY DAD BEAT ME FOR THIS)
4.0 BOTH
VALED AND SALUT AT MY SCHOOL!! AT ONCE! WOW!

*Insert boring generic science and math grind ECs here*

ETHNICITY ASIAN (-50% chance)

If you did any research, you would know that anyone that has perfect transcript and SAT scores with fairly concentrated ECs would be a reach for the top few.

Alumni/Fame/ other relations or contributions would make the school slightly easier to get into with lower stats.

In fact, I'll even imitate a few more posts just to save some people from posting the exact same thing under me.

Person 1: GPA is lower than perfect, apply and hope for the best!

Person 2: OMG I'm applying to HYPSCMU too! I'm only XXXX better here but you beat me XXX here... Good luck!!

Person 3: Reach Reach Reach Reach Reach

Person 4: ACT score too low, Not enough AP

Person 5: Asian with only math and science? Instant reject!!

Person 6: Just apply to them all and hope for the best!!

There you go, I just got you about a week's worth of responses. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but can we have some more tier two-three schools where an accurate prediction can actually be given for a student of X stats, instead of just "Maybe" like all these Ivy leagues?

^^That post hit the nail on the head, though he could've been more eloquent about it. Seriously though, why do you do this? You know the answers to this already. Why ask?

anonymou: At least I answered his question and served the purpose of the thread. You just made a useless comment on his good (no really?) stats, which means nothing at all. The places need more than just good stats, and I already wished him luck.
