GPA: 3.65 Weighted
Class Rank: Top 25%
4 APs (Not the Most demanding, but a very demanding core curriculum)

SAT I: 1510 (Math - 710, Verbal - 800)
SAT II: Math IC - 720, Writing - 710, Biology - 690

Teacher Recommendations: Very Good
Essays: Very Good

Extracurricular Activities:
Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra - Third Stand
Rochester Korean United Methodist Church Orchestra - Concertmaster
All-State/All-County Orchestra - Second Stand
Varsity/JV Tennis
Rochester All-Nations Church Praise Band - Leader/Guitar
Penfield/Harris FIRST Robotics Club - Team Leader
Model United Nations
PC Repair Technician



If possible, I would like to know stats of people that got into any of these schools this year.

Indiana-Bloomington-- definitely in, as long as you get your application in soon since it's rolling. Moreover, you'll be invited to the honors college, because all you need is a 1350 SAT, 30 ACT, or a top 5% rank.

I got in with a $5000/yr (in-state) scholarship right off the bat with a 1450 SAT, top 2% rank, and a 34 ACT. You're going to be too late for a lot of the good scholarships though; the honors college scholarship (up to $8000/yr, I believe) application is due in 3 days.


You'll be in at Ohio State and Purdue, too.

NYCsouljaAC, I would not say that Michigan and NYU are such huge reaches. Your SAT score is well above their mean and you have taken a chellenging courseload. You are in at all the other schools you are applying to.

Farnworth, I would not go as far as saying that NYCsoulja has an excellent chance at Michigan or Stern. A 3.65 weighed GPA usually translates into a 3.3 unweighed GPA. Michigan usually only looks at unweighed GPAs and typically expects over a 3.6 GPA. I am pretty sure NYU is the same. And a top 25% class rank is good, but Michigan and Stern usualy take in students ranked in the top 5% or top 10%.

But I agree that both schools are not impossible. A 1510 SAT score is amazing.

nycsoulja, i think you'll def get into umcp. most people in state with those stats usually get accepted into their honors programs, but it might be harder for out of staters. but you def have the stats to get into maryland. that's all i can say for sure because i'm an instate marylander.

i mean comparing to other people who go to like UMich or NYU, not harvard/ivy league.
