How can I improve my profile to get into a top STEM college?

I'm currently an Indian in the 10th grade. I am from a middle class family, but my father has been unemployed for the past 6 years, and so most of my time is spent helping at home. I am very good in academics, and have been the top student in my class since grade 1. I look forward to getting into a top university, but i have very weak extracurriculars. This is mostly because I don't have enough money to participate in a lot of competitions, and my school too does not conduct many. Everyone wants me to focus solely on my studies so that I get into a top Indian college, but honestly, the system of rote memorisation isn't just working for me. I hope to be a CS Major. Can you help me out? My dream college is MIT, but even Caltech or Cornell would be amazing.

Get involved in CS related EC. Learn many languages. Build projects or programs. Start an application based business. Join a robotics team. Mentor and teach the youth about CS.

Try creating your own app in your free time and putting it on the app store. Creating an app on the app store top 100 charts is a very impressive EC.
