i want to change everything. gpa, rank, ecs. my GPA is in the low 90s which is not good enought for ivies. i wish i could just go back in time & start hs all over,

i'm still in hs, but i already know that it's my gpa. my classes are hard, but the reason i'm getting b's is not because i do poorly on tests, it's because i don't turn in my homework (which is completion). i feel like a dumb*** for being so lazy and throwing away so many opportunities. I worked so hard for 2.5 years and then threw a lot of it away in one semester. It really is amazing how much you can screw yourself in just one semester...

Totally SAT scores....dude even if i got C's they'd still know i was capable of going to college......EPS screws everyone over!!!!!!

GPA/Classes. My school penalizes you for not taking Honors/AP classes. I didnt realize the implications CP classes had on me. I'd easily have a 3.6 or so now if it was with honors classes. Doesnt matter though. As long as I get into my ED choice i dont care about all this

I voted letters of recommendation because those are the only things out of your control. The rest I can work on, study for, or improve. I don't like that there are things being weighed in my app which I have no hand in making.

Good point mwnivek, but you can at least talk with your recommending teachers and participate actively in their classes.

I would change my SAT's: they seem to divide the accepted from the qualified at the top colleges.
