GPA, no question.

I would kill a human being to go back in time and do it again...

I'm honestly afraid that I've ruined my life.

I wouldn't change anything because I don't have any regrets about my life

Fewer schools. I only applied to Harvard and Princeton because my parents wanted to see if I could get in, and RPI because my parents and cc were scared I wouldn't.

It's funny how I'll probably end up choosing my 2nd to last choice originally over my original 1st choice ($$ not a factor).

I just spent the last, what, hour and half reading through this whole thread, and I have to say that as an 8th grader, I now know what NOT to do in high school.

I think I'll type up a 4-year plan, or something..hah im a dork.

my SAT score... by far.

I mean I have a great GPA but I am a horrible test taker, especially under pressure.

If I could change one thing, it would be my decision to view this ultra boring and futile thread. You can't change what's done so deal with it, you bunch of self regarding idiots. As if it mattered to colleges which have rejected you...!

I'm only a sophomore, but my grades are TERRIBLE. All Bs, and a couple of Cs and As. and yeah, I'm taking all honors/AP, but how much to colleges really consider that?

it depends, darkbrwn7691. if you have c's, say goodbye to hyps, but a few b's in an ap class won't definitely hurt.

I would have changed my extra-curriculars to add some work experience. Ideally, I would like to have fit in a sport, but it didn't work with drama club.

stop looking back in the past guys. what good would regretting about the past do? Just accept your situation and move on. You can do well in undergrad and maybe get into a better grad school. So don't be depressed about your past mistakes

Yup... I did it. I hadn't even heard of Olin until last year, and it was sitting quickly below all my other schools except Harvey Mudd. Then I went to the place for Candidates Weekend and actually saw what it was all about and was amazed. Ended up picking it over Caltech, which was my dream school through HS.
