| Fewer schools. I only applied to Harvard and Princeton because my parents wanted to see if I could get in, and RPI because my parents and cc were scared I wouldn't.
It's funny how I'll probably end up choosing my 2nd to last choice originally over my original 1st choice ($$ not a factor). | |

| I just spent the last, what, hour and half reading through this whole thread, and I have to say that as an 8th grader, I now know what NOT to do in high school.
I think I'll type up a 4-year plan, or something..hah im a dork. | |

| I'm only a sophomore, but my grades are TERRIBLE. All Bs, and a couple of Cs and As. and yeah, I'm taking all honors/AP, but how much to colleges really consider that? | |

| Yup... I did it. I hadn't even heard of Olin until last year, and it was sitting quickly below all my other schools except Harvey Mudd. Then I went to the place for Candidates Weekend and actually saw what it was all about and was amazed. Ended up picking it over Caltech, which was my dream school through HS. | |
