Grades. No one is ever satisfied with their stinking grades. Neither am I. Although by looking at it from a bigger prospective - look at what college has degraded us into. Little numbers with IQ attached. How attractive...

i put sat scores...though i did well, i could have done sooo much better if i actually studied. wasted money at a prep course and i didn't even do the work they assigned me. should have bought prep books for the subject tests...yeahhh. that's about it.

Definitely my ECs. As a freshman, I was sure I wanted to be a lawyer. I participated in Mock Trials and discovered... I didn't really like it. So I went through a period in my sophomore and junior years in which I really didn't know what I wanted to do, and as a result I have virtually no ECs (two small one year things, that's it). In retrospect, it would have been better to join ECs solely to impress colleges (as disgusting as I think that is) rather than actually looking for things that I'd actually want to be in. Part of my problem is that I've always gotten good grades not because I wanted to get into a good college, but rather because I just wanted to get them and it came natural to me. As a result, I never really seriously thought about college and my career until late into my junior year. Now, I'm looking at a great GPA and class rank, a very good SAT, and nothing in terms of ECs, which should be the most controllable thing on my application.
