| This is a really helpful post... but it's nurturing my inferiority complex more than anything I’ve ever experienced…lol. I’ll post when I get all my rejections! |

| Haha - me too - AWWLL my rejections.... hehehe. At this point, I have just been keeping myself ridiculously busy with extracurriculars. Two nights ago I pulled an all-nighter to work on speech. It was fun though - I got first. |

| I'll post here to give some of the sub-2200 SAT scorers hope:
White Male
Country: USA
State: NY
Major: Education or Business
SAT: 2030 (640 CR / 710 M / 680 WR)
SAT II: Math I 650 / US History 650
GPA: 96.1 weighted (about 92 unweighted)
Rank: 21/278
ECs:
Math Team
NHS
Saturday History Academy (pretty much US history club on Saturday)
Billiards Club
Volunteered as a Camp Counselor at a Nature Camp
Volunteered as a Little League Baseball Coach
Other stuff
Accepted:
1.) Wagner College (11K per year / Presidential Scholarship)
2.) St. John’s University (18K per year / Honors College)
3.) Pace University (15K per year / Honors College)
4.) NYU Steinhardt (20K per year / Lewis Rudin Scholar)
5.) CUNY Hunter
6.) CUNY Baruch
7.) Fordham University (Not sure about scholarship yet)
Rejected:
Nope
Waitlisted:
Nope
Attending: NYU most likely. I still cant believe I got 20K a year.
Conclusion: I underestimated myself. I applied to only 7 schools and only 2 (Fordham and NYU) weren't safeties. After seeing my results, I regret not applying to Princeton. I thought I had no chance so I'd be wasting my time. I put a lot into my volunteer work and I think that's what set me apart from other applicants, especially at NYU. It just goes to show that you don't need super-stats to get scholarship $, even at schools like NYU. |

| If it's any consolation, I think you probably would've been rejected by Princeton. But hey, you never know. =) |

Yeah probably. I should have tried though. If I had cracked the 2100 mark, I might have given it a shot. I still can't believe I didn't apply to 1 Ivy, not even Columbia which is right in NYC. I think I'll be happy at NYU though. |
