chances if switching from large public hs to small catholic high school

I was wondering if it would affect my chances at top tier schools (the ivies, near ivy) if i were to which schools after my freshman year in high school. the school i go to now its okay, but there are some bad kids and not so good teachers. The school I want to attend is a smaller catholic school that is very well known in my state.. it sends kids off to top schools regularly. the new school doesnt rank, and I feel that I will also be able to learn more there, and from that, earn higher SAT and ACT scores. Do you think I would have better chances if I stayed at the okay school now, get a high rank and better, inflated grades, or switch?
