I'd say you'd be fine with University of Maryland. Even though your SAT score isn't too strong, you have XC and decent grades and a challenging course load.

You're asking if you have a chance at Maryland. My answer is YES YES YES absolutely. Don't worry about your SAT score, you're so well rounded that it will overshadow that. You have it in the bag.

I have uw 3.0 and 3.3 w with 1280 SATS and good ECs. We look to be in the same situation. I wish you luck. What were your overall GPAs? BTW I was Waitlisted/deferred.

black girl got in with a 980 sat, 2.5 gpa no ec's, white guy got rejected with 1270 sat 3.2 and no ec's, gauge from here i guess, -this year- id say 75-80% chance, ,they say fresman class of this year had 1200 and 3.85 but i doubt that, your good grades will make up for your "low" sat score+ instate will def help
