i guess ill do a thread too...for Stern btw

currently(frosh/soph yr)
uw-3.7
w-4.4

projected with junior yr-90% sure this will happen
uw-3.73
w-4.42

-school selected 20 students to take two math courses frosh yr-I was selected so I am a year ahead in math than most ppl in my school

sat-2280(800M 800CR 680W-should i retake for writing?)

sat II- 720-bio
taking math II and us history in may

ec
-certified lifeguard-work at pool
-volunteered at hospital
-volunteered to teach kids how to swim
-school soccer(4yrs)-2 yrs varsity/junior year-most improved player
-forming a ping pong club this year
-FBLA(4yrs)-11th-historian/12th-will be vp
-awards-10th-7th in business math at regionals/5th in states
11th-2nd in business ethicsat states/ hopefullly something in nationals
-applied for summer program at wharton(probably wont make it) so i will probably do an internship at axa financial or etrade
-key club volunteering
-math league-won a few awards
-aime qualifier
-the head marketer for the robotics team
- president of the censored news clubs
...many more volunteer stuff and other trivial things

AP's
11th grade
lang comp
us history
calculus ab

12th grade
statistics
government
calc bc
literature

yea...thats about it

and should i do ed or rd because I am getting varied opinions. Some people say that ed is harder because the pool is more competitive but i dont know. So please give your opinion on what i should do and what my chances are

I'm not so sure of your chances, but in regard to ED vs. RD, applying ED is statistically better, with a higher rate of acceptance than applying RD...At least it is that way with most schools...

u will get into stern and georgetown easily, I would aim higher, look at some of the top ivies, they dont place as much emphasis on writing, so that is a very very strong SAT score, and ur GPA is decent, I wouldnt be surprised if u got into one of the top ivies.

rly because i just got rejected from a wharton summer program...i dont think my stats are not high enough for wharton...but ill try i guess

If you have high SAT II scores you should definitely have a shot at Wharton.

One thing that is important though is....where are you applying from? Northeast? Because that would make it more difficult for Georgetown too

You have a decent chance, but you're not "in" as some people here try to raise your hopes too much. Your GPA is very weak for Stern though your SAT is good. EC's decent, but not oustanding
