I've made up my mind. Chances please?

Hi. I plan to major in astrophysics. What are my chances?

Schools I'm looking at are:
1. UC Berkeley (top pick)
2. UCLA
3. UNC
4. NC state (safety)

HS: public in NC, USA
Gender: male
Ethnicity: Asian
Age: 18

GPA: 4.7 (weighted)
Class rank: 19/376 (will go up)

Freshman year
- English 9 honors (B)

- World history honors (B - 92)

Get the ACT score up a bit maybe. But my friend got into Berkeley this year and I will tell you the advice she gave me:
-She only had a 4.3 GPA and 1950 on her SATs and her friend had a 4.7 and 2200 but he didn't get in. She said the best thing to do is rock your essays because hers were pretty amazing. Berkeley weighs alot on essays apparently. Good Luck!

I don't think you will have any problems getting into UC Berkeley, but in the minute chance they do reject you, remember that the UCs are biased towards Californian state residents.
