* Theatre: Participated and played character roles such as “Mouth” in the school play-‘ Robin Hood The Truth Behind the Green Tights’; served as the lighting coordinator for the high school play in 2008 where I was in-charge of the lighting effects for the play. I have also experience of designing costumes for the middle school play- The Pink Panther.

CONFERENCES, CLUBS AND TRAININGS

* I have participated and contributed to several international conferences and seminars. conference held at the United Nations General Assembly Interacted with participants for many countries at the conference. I also hosted and supported 2 students from Germany who came to attend the conference. Another conferenceHuman rights conference on Indigenous people.
* I am currently the Secretary of the club The objective of the club is to support initiatives in countries through Microfinancing. I have coordinated and contributed to efforts for raising money through bake sales, dances, others. The resources generated are sent to deserving persons and projects in developing countries.
* I participated in a school group field visit with a non governmental organization working on local manufacturing of soap. Besides providing livelihood means through this activity, I also learned the technique of making and selling soap.



AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

* Mathematics: I have received several annual school awards over the years in mathematics during middle and high school. These included the silver certificate for excellence in Mathematics (2005); Gold certificate for Excellence in Mathematics (2006) and the bronze certificate for excellence in mathematics (2004)
* I was also placed on the Principal’s List for Academic Excellence during one year of high school.



LEADERSHIP

* I have been selected in leadership positions including to represent my class during my middle and high school years. Some examples of these include (i) selection as member of Middle School honors society (iii) Elected class presidents in both middle school and high school years ( grades 7, 8 and 9). During these positions I participated in dialogue with school management to provide feedback on behalf of the students on several aspects in management.
