Chance for UNC-Chapel hill, UT-Austin, OSU and IU-Bloomington?(international)

I'm going to apply for fall 2009
UNC-chapel hill
UT-Austin
Ohio State univ
Indiana univ-bloomington

GPA:
9th and 10th: 3.1
junior: about 3.2
senior: I think I can get above 3.6

SAT: 1900
Math 800
CR 480
Writing 620
SAT II Math II: 800

Can I be admitted to those schools?

UNC-Chapel Hill -- Very slim. Competition for international spots is rough, and your GPA/SATs are lower than average.
UT-Austin -- Same as the above.

My advice, above all else, would be to read in your spare time with greater frequency, and retake the SAT. Your Math score is amazing, your Writing score is decent, but your Critical Reading score is quite low. Try to bring it up at least into the 500s if not 600s.

I do not have much experience with the other two schools, but I'd say your chances are better at those institutions than Texas & Carolina.

Thank you for your advice.

However, should I apply to Univ of NC? Do I have any chance?

If you have the money for application fees, aye, go for it. You'll never know if you don't try, and depending on how good your essays are, you never know.

Just make sure that you have a few other safety schools which you could attend if the above universities are not options.

I think I will need to work hard on the critical reading section of SAT.
