The rest of your application looks so-so, but you really do need to bring up your SAT score quite significantly if you want to have a decent shot at getting in. I highly doubt that a 1,000 SAT score (out of 1600) would make it through the admissions office. Sorry to be blunt about that, but you do still have time to work on it. You should study a lot for the SAT (do as much as you possibly, possibly can) and retake the SAT after this summer. A more appropriate target would be around or above a 1400 out of 1600 on the old two sections of the SAT.
