First district youth council (one of the chairs)- a coalition of local youth that worked with the districts representative to bring positive changes to the community.

Paula Fishman Music Studio-5 years [really demanding music teacher and studio, 2-3 hours of practicing a night]

| Retake the SAT. If you can get 2100, your chances will go up. Don't bother retaking SAT Spanish. 730 is already good enough and getting a 770 will do little for your application. Consider taking chemistry or math instead of lit, you'll be more well rounded (you already have two humanity SAT II's).
USC, NYU, and Berkeley have decent business schools, not so much the other ones (idk about Chicago). Consider one of those. |

| no, I did not go to either of those schools.
I think going to any university would do my family proud, but I am more into my own joy, and I think NYU would do it.

| Pepperdine can be pretty selective, regardless of grades. UCLA and Berkeley are also pretty tricky, and 1st gen seems to help ; minority/urm, not so much. |
