Also, if you aren't accepted into UW honors, you can still go to UW. Honors is just an add-on program. And most kids at my school who aren't that smart and have WAY lower SATs than I do get into UW and some even get into UW honors.

Oh dang. I forgot in my ECs that I'm part of the National Honors Society and for employment, I'm a junior instructor at my martial arts school.

Yeah, definitely won't hurt you about SAT and they've adopted a new score choice policy, so it doesn't much matter.

Taking SAT too many times

I talked to an admission officer few months ago. She said they only take the highest score and they don't care how many times you have taken the exam.
So, don't worry about it. From my research, anyone with SAT more than 2100 or ACT more than 31 and GPA 4.2 or higher has good chance to get into good private school. However, even you have perfect score and high GPA doesn't mean you will get into every private school.

yea i agree. if a valedictorian can't get into UW there's a problem. obviously Harvard, Yale, MIT and Stanford are all reaches. but i think Cornell penn johns hopkins, duke and uchicago are all doable.
