What does your guidance counselor think? Usually your local guidance counselor would be good at knowing your chances at your in state flagship.

UT has pretty low standards, your chances will depend on the major you're applying to (if it's a strong/popular one vs one no one wants to go to)

I wouldn't be as sure as Rh. is on your chances, especially if you're applying to one of their more competitive schools, such as the honors business program. you're not in the top 10% but your SAT is okay. I can't really judge right now because you haven't provided a lot of info on your ECs or anything.

Good luck!

i would talk to my guidance counselor but she doesn't know how to do her job and is unhelpful and rude.

i wanted to be an architecture major but i really doubt i'll get into that program, so i wanted to just see my chances for getting into Liberal Arts.

as for my extra credits: newspaper two years (editor-in-chief), debate two years (i did pretty well with this, awards etc, underclassmen years though), academic challenge co-captain 2 years (member all 4), teach religious education on saturdays, got into ap studio art without prerequisite/won country awards/have a good portfolio etc.
