Jesus your SAT1 is pretty bamf in my opinion. And if your as good of an essay writer as you said you are, i wouldn't count out CAL and UCLA. Others on here may laugh but one person at my school had similar stats to yours. She got into CAL. Everyone was surprised including her own brother. Give it a shot. haha
All I know is
Riverside, Merced, and SC are in a safety zone area for you.

ohhh rank : (haven't seen it since my last report card) 20 or 30 ish out of 698

Heh. Maybe LA, but i'm not a "for chance" person. I'd hate getting rejected rawr. and do you think my chances for UCSD are OK? i got 2 C's my junior year (really brought me down), cuz they were tough classes and i was burned out, but i'm studying hard for my SAT 1's...hopefully go up 40-50 pts

Well JexteLox, tell me this. Who does like being rejected? you have a shot at UCSD for sure.
Im just saying I'd rather apply and get rejected instead of not applying and knowing have a decent shot of getting in
