Chances for UPenn A&S Early Decision???

ACT - 34 (teacher told me i did really good so i don't need to take the SAT)

SAT II Bio Ecology - 640
SAT II Math 2 - 750
SAT II US History - 650
Will take SAT II Lit and SAT II Physics in October

PSAT - 221

GPA - unknown, but I got a 91 Unweighted and 94 Weighted for junior year.
I took three AP's in junior year and 1 AP in sophomore year. I'm taking two SUPA courses (Psych and Sociology) next year and 4 AP's next year (Lit, Comp Gov.,Calc BC, and Chem) .

Extra Curricular Activities
-Cello since 8 years old
-Orchestra tour to China
-Music trip with a summer music camp to Vienna
-Played at Carnegie Hall and many other recitals (church halls mainly) with my cello
-Volunteer at church for summer camps and vacation bible school
-Missions trips to mexico, dominican republic (if you don't know what that is, it's a trip where you go live with people of a different country and introduce them to the Christian faith.)
-Volunteer work at my congressman's office during the summer
-Volunteer work for the Korean American Public Affairs Committee (helped with coordinating events all across Long Island, NY including small festivals and made speeches at meetings.)
-Volunteer work at the Korean War Veterans Association
-Korean-American (if you didn't already guess)
-West Point Summer Leadership Seminar
-I don't know if this will count for anything, but i participated for 2 years in the CTY Talent Search (7th and 8th grade)
- Certificates of special recognition from Senator Hillary Clinton, Congressman Gary Ackerman, the State Comptroller of New York Thomas DiNapoli, and New York State Assemblyman Philip Ramos.
-High School Music Honor Society (Tri-M)
-High School Webmasters
-High School Cornerstone Bible Club (co-president)
-High School Model UN (hopefully officer next year)

my friend told me that if i write a kick-ass essay, i have a really good shot if i apply to UPenn Early Decision. I appreciate any insight!

Thank you!

How does that GPA convert to a 4.0 scale?

Awesome ACT score. SAT IIs could be better. I've heard typically you want to aim above 700 on at least two or three exams. However, you will not have to send them to Penn if you do not want to (but you will need them for other schools).

Your ECs are fine. If you apply ED to Penn you have a good shot. Not a guarantee though. Someone else can give better advice.

i think my gpa for junior year was a 3.72 or something, but i got that by dividing 94/100 and multiplying that by 4...im taking sat 2 lit and phys in october and i hope to get above 700 on both.
