I know, I know...

...but I'd really appreciate your help. I'm going to keep my stats brief to make this easier.

I'm a white male from the midwest.

GPA: 3.96 / 4.0
Class Rank: 2 / 240
SAT: 2200
AP Exams: 5 Exams (Three 5's and Two 3's)
Sports: Varsity hockey and varsity lacrosse (captain of both)
ECs: 5 or 6 various clubs (Pres of 1, VP of another)

I'm applying to:
Harvard
Princeton
Stanford
Columbia
Boston College
NYU
Amherst
Tufts
U. Michigan

If you could give me a rough idea of what my % chance is at any of these schools, that would be great! (Please be honest, I can take it haha)

Really depends on your state of residence. I'll assume you're from Minnesota because "Red Wing" is in your username.

I'll give you my rough estimates:

Harvard- 20%
Princeton- 25%
Stanford- 5% (they're HUGE on EC's and diversity... being white doesn't help.)
Columbia- 35%
Boston College- 50%
NYU- 50%
Amherst- Not familiar with
Tufts- Not familiar with
U. Michigan- 60%

Look into UW-Madison, Univesity of Washington Seattle, and UC-Berkeley too. You'd have a decent shot at those places.

I think that you have a slim chance at Harvy, Princey, Stanny, and Columbz, just because with your not-4.0 GPA and your not-above-2200 SAT scores, it's very difficult to get into schools of that caliber.
you do, however, have an excellent chance at NYU, Tufts, and Amherst, all of which are excellent schools, and of course, the remainder of colleges that are beneath those.
I do agree with WishWash in that Berkeley would be excellent for ya.

good luck, dear!

If you are a recruited athlete in ice hockey or lacrosse, your chances could greatly increase. You might want to contact the coaches of your two sports.
