| what are the odds of getting in??
hi... i had even put up a thread on the international forum but think this is more apt...
im a high school senior from india.
rank :top 5%of my class
have got mostly As with a few Bs. a GPA of around 3.8-4
i did 3 aps:
bio-5
eng lit-5
eng lang-4
my sat I scores are a bit dismal 2040(R-610 W 710 M730)
sat II was better and i got a 770 in biology
planing on doing sat II Math II and maybe chem this october.
my ecs are pretty good
i have done extensive community service- still do it every week
taken part in throwball basketbal in my school
taken part and helped train for English and Hindi debates, elocutions and dramatics
was a house captain in my previous high school (grades 9-10)
have achieved many awards for my academic performance
so basically ..
i need your help to tell me what are the odds of getting into the following unis for me:
johns hopkins
brown
chicago
duke
reed
grinnell
oberlin
iowa
michigan
the UCs
uni of toronto
boston
and others...
i would be applying with financial aid though....
i know getting into ivies is a tough shot but is it possible to get into the others??? |
