Making the leap from the 1700s to 2100 is no easy task...after my class my score did increase but not that greatly. Best of luck, though! Sounds like if you make it to the 1900s you have a decent shot coming from your school

I hope, I'm aiming for a 2100 to make up for my freshman year.

Yeah, just raise your SAT scores. Everything else look pretty good. Good lukc on that leap though! But it's definitely doable. My best friend went from a 1800 to a 2100 with A LOT or studying and work.

I'm not so sure that the SAT will make up for your freshman year as much as you did with your ability to challenge yourself and succeed. That will say plenty to schools like UVA.

And yes, location does make a difference -- sorry to say. A principal friend of mine, who is a UVA grad, says that UVA could fill its entire freshman class with kids from Fairfax but cannot and does not because there are other parts of VA to consider. (I add that I am not in Fairfax but another part of VA) If you lived in rural VA, your chances with those scores and being an URM would greatly increase.

Still, if you do raise your SAT, you will see your chances go up regardless of where you live.
