Applying to PLME hurting chances of regular Brown admission?

This could be the dumbest question ever, but:

I think that as is, Brown is a decent "match" school for me. PLME is obviously a total crapshoot ~ would applying to PLME hurt my chances for regular Brown admission?

I doubt I have a great chance with PLME, but I really want to get into Brown...I don't want to hurt my chances

nope it doesn't hurt ... and Brown is an Ivy, so it's a reach for pretty much everyone.

I guess what I meant by calling it sort of a match is that, stats-wise, I think I *can* get in

but like you said...all ivies are a bit of a crapshoot -_- so yeah haha
