your marketing initiative bodes well. Is that what you want to go into? I think you have a great shot, however, you should apply to more back up schools.
You should think about retaking the SAT. I know the writing doesn't count for most schools, but I still think a better writing score would look good (>650).
Your summers are very productive, but during the year, you're in some ECs. I know tennis takes up a lot of time (I have a friend who's on varsity tennis), but other than that your list is somewhat average.
Also how many AP's have you taken? Did you win any awards?

University of Texas (Honors Business / Turing Scholars CS) - Reach (OOS), but your in at the regular school. honors is tough at UT.
Wake Forest - Not sure
Berkeley - Reach (OOS)
Boston College - Match
Duke - High Match
Rice - High Match
Stanford - Reach
UPenn - Reach
WashU - Reach

look into USC or NYU, great biz schools.

as someone who did wretchedly on the PSATs and really improved for the SATs (1960-->2240) i really resent people who stay basically the same. Should have studied more and you might have gotten in the 2300 range...

ignore that.. maybe you studies more for your original psats than he did. i got a 182 sophomore psats and really improved to a 202 in my junior psats. but then my sats were essentially the same first time (2040). it depends on how much you've learned at the point of your psats. maybe he had crucial classes in between his psats and sats that helped boost his score. anyway, everyone's different, so ignore the criticism.

anyway, penn, duke, berkeley are reaches.. rice might be a high match/reach.. boston college would be more of a match.. not sure about the rest. throw in one or two definitely safeties, and keep those on your current list that you like the most.. visit the campuses if you havent, i was surprised to hate a couple colleges i was really thinking about applying to.
although i'm looking more at SAT than ACT... and now that i look at ACT, that's a really great score, though i'm not fully familiar with the ACT.. so you definitely do have a really good shot at everything i just said were reaches. but still, make sure to have some safeties. your GPA's fantastic. your extracurriculars seem fine, though i'm not one to ask, as i'm involved in like, no extracurriculars myself.

good luck!!

thanks for the replies. right now, my safety is UT engineering seeing as how I get in there automatically from being in the top 10% and living in texas. I'd be perfectly happy going there, so I decided to apply to schools where I thought I might have a chance. Ideally, I'd love to attend berkeley, but I hear it's extremely difficult out of state. And to the first person who commented on my SAT score, I think you may have been looking at the PSAT, because I got above 650 on SAT writing. Also, to whoever asked, I've taken as many AP's as possible which I think should sum up to be around 12 total classes after my senior year.

Your work experience really sets you apart so capitalize on it! Write in your essays what you learned, your impact, etc. Given the time, you should probably just focus on taking SAT II's; I believe three is good for most of the top schools you're looking into. Good luck with everything!

Please chance me! "Stanford EA?"
