Chance me=I PROMISE to chance back. You can hold me to it. (Chance this one please)

Please chance me on the following three schools, as they are my top 3 choices, AND I PROMISE TO CHANCE YOU BACK (Please leave the link to your stats!):

1. University of Virginia
2. University of Texas at Austin
3. University of Florida

Here are my stats:
White Male
Florida resident

Weighted GPA: 4.31

National Honor Society- Member- 1 hr/wk (11,12)

Yearbook Club- Co-founder, President- 1 hr/wk (12)

Newspaper- Co-founder, Editor-in-Chief- 1 hr/wk (12)

Varsity Tennis Team- Member- 10 hr/wk during tennis season (11,12)

Spanish Honor Society- 1 hr/wk (12)

Student Ambassador (12)

Volunteer Work:

I completed 807.5 community service hours over my four years of HS. Those hours are documented on my transcript.
I did most of my service hours (about 700) at a summer sports camp for children.

Volunteered for the McCain campaign over the summer and will continue to do so this fall, but the hours I work can't be counted as service hours.
*I want to major in political science so I'm trying to make an effort to show that I'm doing what I'm passionate about.

Special Nominations and Programs:

Nominee and attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine in Houston (July 22-31, 2007)

Nominee and attended the Presidential Classroom: Campaigns and Elections Week (March 23-29, 2008)
*School nominee and nominated to be the Republican Minority Leader during mock Senate sessions. Again, I'm trying to show that I'm making an effort to pursue what I'm passionate about.

*Also, I have a recommendation letter that I'm submitting to the University of Virginia from an instructor at this program who attended UVA. He works for the State Department and works in Latvia. Maybe this will give me an edge.*

People to People Future Leaders Summit on International Diplomacy at Columbia and George Washington Universities (June 21-30, 2008)
*Representative for Thailand during Model U.N. debates[
Awards and Recognitions: Most Outstanding Student in Marine Science (10)
Most Outstanding Student in English (10)
Most Outstanding Student in World History (10)
Most Outstanding Student in AP English Language and Composition (11)
Most Outstanding Student in Dual Enrollment American History (11)
Most Outstanding Student in Media Production I (11)
* The awards above mean that I maintained the highest GPA of all students enrolled in that class regardless of the period. They also indicated that I maintained a positive attitude and excellent behavior.

Individual Excellence in Spanish II (10)
Individual Excellence in Theology (11)
* These are pretty self explanatory.

Academic Honor Roll (9,10,11,12)- every quarter/semester
Behavior Honor Roll (10,11,12) all quarters/semesters
Lamps of Knowledge Award (11)

School nominee to attend the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (10)

School nominee to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security (11)

Member of The National Society of High School Scholars

Senior Course Schedule:

1st semester:
Pre-Calculus Honors/ B
Physics Honors/ A
Media Production II/ A
Government Honors/ A
Dual Enrollment English/ A
Dual Enrollment Spanish/ A
Theology/ A
^SUBMITTING MY SENIOR, MID-YEAR GRADES TO UT AND UVA, WHICH IS REQUIRED.

* Obviously math isn't my strongest subject, but I hope colleges will cut me some slack because my intended major is political science, not mathematics or science...

2nd semester:
Pre-Calculus Honors
Physics Honors
Media Production II
Economics Honors
Dual Enrollment English
Dual Enrollment Spanish
Theology

*My school is a small private school with limited funding. It's a very good school academically (college preparatory), but it offers very few AP courses (3 I think), so I've tried to take advantage of most of the Dual Enrollment courses which I consider just as difficult as A courses. Also, at my school, Theology is a required course all 4 years, so that also limits the amount of academic courses I can take.

*My school is EXTREMELY competitive. We have a 100 % college acceptance rate at my school and there's a lot of pressure to do well.

My brother-in-law graduated from the UVA School of Business.

I've already been accepted to the following schools:

Texas A&M University
University of Mississippi
University of Alabama
University of Oklahoma
University of Georgia
Penn State University
Southern Methodist University
Baylor University
University of South Carolina

Hopefully that gives ya'll an idea about what schools I'm capable of getting into.
Thanks!

You should be fine for all those schools: you have a decent sat/act, and a GREAT gpa, a plethora of ECs, and though it would be better if you were higher ranked in your school, most schools forgive that if your private school really is super competitive.

You needn't worry.

Um wow. Very impressive set of EC's. Your school sounds a lot lie mine with limited Ap's. Also I dont know about all of those national convention things but those are almost all money eaters. I got nominated for that national security thing this year and was going to do it only to find out that it was money, money and more money. Not really a down for your application though. I say in at Texas and Florida with reach at UVA just because it is a pain to get into OOS.
