chance a kid who didnt apply but wants to know if he had a chance

hey guys

my SATs were quite poor, my score was like 1980 or something in that range. my current grade 12 average is 92% about a 3.7 GPA out of 4. I didn't apply to any US schools because I thought my SATs were terrible, but so far ive gotten into all the canadian schools I applied to and im left wondering whether i made a terrible choice and could have gotten into a decent school with my high school mark and an improved SAT...

I want to study business/economics/social sciences at any of the ivies, any good LAC, and any decent state schools....

anyone have any idea what schools I could have gotten into? or was my SAT too low to be worth it?

I'm really unsure about how the international stuff works...but I'd say you have a good shot at TONS of schools! Your grades and SATs are better than mine, and I've gotten accepted into 3/4 schools...the other one i just didn't hear back yet...and I got into Rutgers University (a really good state school, you could call it New Jersey U)

Don't sweat it...if you like your Canadian school, stay put, but if you really want to go to America, there's always the possibility of transfer. Definitely visit though...and really think about if you want to live that far away from home.

Well you couldn't have gotten into the Ivies, but you probably could have gotten into a place like BU or Bucknell, maybe Oberlin, maybe one of the UC's.
