Admissions Advice : UVA

Hi, I would really appriciate any feedback on my chances in getting into UVA; the uncertainty is kinda stressful!

Anyway...I am a Virginia Resident and a Junior

GPA: 4.08 (Junior year); it will most likley rise during my senior year

SAT: 1730 (I know, not good; I am going to retake it. I am probalbly capable of getting a 1900-2000)

Courses: Mostly advanced, every year during high school I have increased my course load. By the end of my senior year I will have taken the eqivialant of 8 AP courses (my school offers somthing called the Cambridge Program; if you have ever heard of it) and a total of 6 honors courses. (All my senior classes are AP or honors)

EC: -Cross Country (3 yrs), Winter Track (2yrs), Spring Track (3yrs), FBLA (2yrs),
Youth Group (3yrs), Model UN (3yrs), Scrabble Club (2yrs), National Honor
Society (2yrs), Science Club (3yrs), INTERACT Club (2yrs), Academic Team (1yr), and
about 250 hrs of community service

Leadership: President of Science Club, Vice President of Scabble Club, Special
Events Cordinator for INTERACT Club, hopefully an officer of Model
UN club (elections are coming up)

Awards: -Nominated to the National Youth Leadership Conference (2yrs)
-Nominated to the National Youth Leadership Committe (2yrs)
-Nominated to the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security
-Nominated to the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicne
-Latin Student of the Month during various times during high school
-1st Place in Help Desk at FBLA Regional Conference, competed at state conf.
-Awarded an Academic Letter Twice
-Scored in the upper percentile in the national latin exam
-Chosen to be a Peer Advisor

This is pretty much all I have as of the 3rd Quarter of my Junior Year. I can probably add some additonal things to my list by the time I apply to UVA. Again, any Feedback on my chances of admisson would be greatly appriciated. Sorry for any spelling or gramatical errors, i'm in a rush.

I would say that if you could raise your SAT score or provide other high standardized test scores, as an in-state applicant, you have a seriously good chance. I would call it a low match at best and a high match at worst.

You didn't provide an UW GPA, so there's no way to gauge accurately where you stand
