International Chances for Class of 2014

Gender: Male (don’t lol at screen name... LOL)
Nationality: Caymanian
Citizenship: Jamaican
Location: Kingston, Jamaica

I'm currently in the 12th Grade in Jamaica, so I have one more year to go. I have selected a few colleges (scroll down) that I think would be good for me. Now, all I need to do is find out if I'll be good for them. Here are my stats. Chance me PLEASE!

BTW, I went to two diff. high schools. It's all explained in it...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

School's Reputation: First HS was a top 25 Nationally-ranked where past students have gotten into schools like Brown, U of Chicago and Wesleyan U. Current HS is all boys (unaffiliated) and in the top 10, and past students have gotten into schools like MIT, Harvard and Oxford.

GPA: Not entirely sure. My overall GPA from the 1st school up to 12th grade (our 'junior' year) was 3.85 unweighted. I repeated 12th grade this year at the current school, and the GPA for this year was about the same, unweighted. 13th grade (our 'senior' year) GPA should be decent, but only time will tell.

Class rank: Currently top 10 of 153. Top 10% for last school.

SAT I:
Score for 1st sitting earlier this year was 2110 (CR - 690, Math - 700, Writing - W720). I'm not sure if I should retake it. I think it's decent enough.

SAT II:
Math I: 720
Biology M: 700
Chemistry: 690
I'm not sure if I should take more. I would love to, but they're really expensive. I'm considering US History and Literature.

External Exams c/o Caribbean Examination Council:

Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (11th Grade)
--> 6 Distinctions (English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, IT) and 3 Credits (Biology, Physics, Spanish)

Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination Level 1 (12th Grade)
--> Predicted Grades: All Distinctions (Communication Studies, Geography, Literatures in English, Pure Mathematics)

Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination Level 2 (13th Grade)
--> Predicted Grades: All Distinctions (Same Subjects as above)

Extracurricular:

School Leadership:
- Prefect (12)
- Peer Counsellor (9 - 12 +)
- Student Council (Member: 9 - 12 +; General Secretary: 12)
- Mentor, Football [Soccer] Team (12)

- 50 hours + as Peer Tutoring Volunteer Hours / year
- 20 hours + as Bible School Teacher / year

Work Experience:
- 2 month unpaid internship at Jamaican Ministry of Education in summer 2007
- 1 month internship at National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd. in summer 2008
- 2 month unpaid internship with Clarke Contractors and Associates Ltd. this summer

Hopeful activities for 13th Grade so far:
- National Student Council Executive
- Sixth Form Association Executive

Awards:
Mainly Honour Roll awards for each year at both schools, and a few awards for top performance in specific subjects. I’m hoping National rankings for the external exams for at least 2 of my advanced subjects this year.

Essays: Should be great... : S ... –ish. I’m sure I’ll have to pump them up with passion. : )
Recommendations: They might just be amazing... : )
Family’s income is around US $30,000 so I’m probably going to have to apply for International Aid.
