chance me

I'm a junior at a NE boarding school.

Here are my stats:
Freshman (2.89): Art B-, English C+, Religion B-, Precalc A-, Latin II B-, Physics B+
Sophomore (3.33): AP BC Calc- A, Biology B, English A-, World History B+, Religion B, Latin III B
Junior (3.41): AP US History B (really hard class, our valedictorian got a B+), Latin IV B+, Honors Chem B+, AP Physics (C) B+, Multivariable Calc A-, American Lit A-

EC's
Freshman: Concert Band (clarinet), Clarinet lessons, Debate Team, V Cross Country, V Nordic Skiing, JV Track
Sophomore: Choir (tenor), Debate Team, V Cross Country, managed JV Swimming while training for track, Winter musical, V Track, Voice lessons, piano lessons
Junior: Selective singing group (won't give the name cuz that'd give away my school), Choir, Debate Team, Voice Lessons, District Choir

Scores:
AP: BC Calc- 5. Physics C-probably 4's on both tests US History - definitely 5, I wrecked it
SAT (will retake): 2060 math: 700, CR: 640, Writing: 720

Misc.
I'm halfway through a CTY Linear Algebra course, so I'm going to finish that this summer and take Differential Equations.
I run year round. My 5K time is 16:40 on a grass/dirt course. My school doesn't really have a great distance running program, so my coach just let me do my own thing in XC. I'll probably stress this in the recruiting forms, because I'm sure I could be a lot better with decent coaching.
I might wrestle next winter and not run track (I'm not good at short distances anyway, so I'd just use the time to train for XC).
I got some award for writing sophomore year (1 given out per grade) and one for math this year (1 per class).
And I'm going to get a part-time summer job in a few weeks.
And I don't know if this matters, but I've been teaching myself to play blues guitar.
I'm Hispanic

Overall GPA 3.37 (school didn't count freshman grades prolly cuz block schedule changed so much)

I was put on probation winter of freshman year for fighting and winter of sophomore year for accumulated concerns (there's a lot more to the story, which I'll explain in the statement).

Schools I'll probably apply to:
MIT
U. Rochester
UC Berkeley (legacy)
Harvey Mudd
Johns Hopkins
NYU
Tufts
Claremont Mckenna
Northeastern

I haven't really thought enough about safeties yet, but I'll get to it.
Thanks!

The tough reality is that to be accepted to your listed of school your GPA needs to be significantly higher. The good news is that you'll be taking a lot of AP courses and good grades in those will boost it. If you can retake the SAT and score a 2200+, you'll get into some of those schools with a GPA close to 4.0 weighted. You should make a list of safety schools and probably add Dartmouth in there for state residency(it helps). Good luck.

those are all really tough schools, and they're all numbers games, meaning a good SAT score, which you have will play a positive, but boosting to a 2200+ wont counteract behavioral issues, and a lack of EC's. Of course you must obviously be passionate about running, so I wouldnt worry too much. your GPA is going to hurt you, Im assuming you're giving us a weighted GPA. similarly though, your stats are similar to mine GPA-wise, I suggest finding some real safety schools to apply to, but dont take the advice on CC as concrete, do your own thing.
