hi, its official, i have a 3.11 uw gpa and a 27 on the ACT, my grades have been in a constant upward swing since freshman year (2.88, 2.9, 3, 3.15, 3.28,3.45...in order from 1st semester freshman until 2nd semester junior) also, I have good ec's and i am starting my own business this summer,
the schools i am interested in are:
The Ohio State University (1st choice)
U of Pittsburgh
U of Minnesota Twin Cities
Michigan State
Indiana University
University of Iowa
Kansas University
U of Arizona

You don't say where you're from, your chances will be influenced by the in-state vs. OOS stats. I suggest going to the college board site and plugging in your stats and checking out the how do I stack up? analysis.

That said, my guesses:

OSU - Match
Pitt - Reach
Minnesota - Match/Reach
MSU - Reachy
IU - Reachy
Iowa - Reachy/Match (see Admission to Iowa's Regent Universities: Regent Admission Index)
KU - Match
Arizona - Match

Again, depending on your state of residence you chances could go up. The only school I see as an outright long shot is Pitt. But, I also don't see an outright safety school either.

I dont know much about schools in the midwest, but I know Michigan State is very popular for grad school, so I'd call it a somewhat reach.

I also know you could get into Arizona U

I think your GPA is kinda low. Thus, you have to try harder the 1st half of senior year and also try to lift up your ACT score. Also, write good essays and express your love for the school as much as you could.
