University of Rochester - reach/match
Case Western Reserve University - reach
Northwestern(my mom knows the dean of the math department but this is still a huge reach i know) - apply and see, with THIS economy you never really know...
USC - reach
University of the Pacific - safety
Florida institute of Technology - safety

you have a good list, but finding a few more between safety and reach couldn't hurt you...

thanks for chancing me.

I think that if you get your sat up to the 2000 you think you should get then your chances will look like this:

University of Rochester-Match
Case Western Reserve University-High Match/Low Reach
Northwestern(my mom knows the dean of the math department but this is still a huge reach i know)-Reach
USC-Low reach
University of the Pacific-safety/in
Florida institute of Technology-safety/in

thanks for chancing me. thought i'd do it in return.

i think you could probably get into all of those schools except for maybe usc and northwestern. if you can boost your test scores, then these might become a bit more of reasonable reaches. i know both are very selective, but northwestern is especially difficult to get into. good luck!

Improving your SAT/ACT scores will match/in you with most of your schools. Northwestern is definitely a high reach.
Your ECs are good, I like how you reached high levels in each and they show passion and dedication. Good how math/chess relates to major.

i think you've got a great shot at all of them, maybe a reach at nu, but i think you've got a great shot at usc if you pull up those SAT scores a bit
