chance me and i will chance back

ill be a senior this fall and im a white male that goes to a nondescript public high school in a small town in arizona

here are my stats

SAT(1st time)
I think i can get it around 2000

CR: 580
M: 680(im way better than this)
W: 620
63 MC
8 Essay

ACT
Composite: 28
Math 33
Science 29
Reading 26
English 25

Schedule
3 honors classes
4 APs
will have calc 3 completed by graduation
ive taken
5 maths(through calc 3)
5 sciences(bio, chem/phys. phys II, anatomy)
4 english
4 yrs spanish
2 fine arts
3 soc studies

GPA
my school doesnt weight honors but they do APs
im in top 10% of my class
GPA: 3.83 weighted

ECs
Tennis-varsity for 3 yrs(captain)
my school holds an annual contest of who can memorize the most digits of pi and im the reigning champ with a measly 351
Chess-4 time 2nd place in region
NHS member for 3 yrs
Ultimate Frisbee-played in club and we'll have a varsity team next year

i want to go to a private school and i dont care about how far away it is from home. I want to major in math or engineering, but i dont want to go to a school that has a horrible M/F ratio like a lot of techy schools.

What are my chances at:
University of Rochester
Case Western Reserve University
Northwestern(my mom knows the dean of the math department but this is still a huge reach i know)
USC
University of the Pacific
Florida institute of Technology

or any other suggestions you have for me
if you put your link to your chance page i will chance you back

THX

If you get your ACT up you prob could get into most of those except Northwestern may be a bit of a reach. But you still have a fair chance there.

i think you have a good shot at all of them except maybe northwestern. i don't think that knowing the head of the math department will help you because he's not on admissions. but if it does, then maybe you do have a good chance!

Chance a Georgia Peach for STANFORD and other top schools. I CHANCE BACK

You have good ECs and good performance in your high school. I'd only say that you might want to try to improve your standardized test scores (especially ACT, a 30+ does not seem far out of your reach). So considering these facts, I will chance you as this:

University of Rochester
Case Western Reserve University: Good Chance
Northwestern(my mom knows the dean of the math department but this is still a huge reach i know): Fair
USC: Medium Reach
University of the Pacific: Fair
Florida institute of Technology: Good chance

Good luck!!

I would really try and increase your scores, then you should have pretty good chances. You never know, the math dean could have a lot of pull.

Chances at WashU, Cornell, and Penn?

Northwestern: Somewhat of a reach. Try hard for this one.
USC: Mid reach. Maybe a match, depending on essays, etc.
Sorry, I know nothing about the other colleges on your list!
