Man, if I was a college admissions officer, I would definitely accept you!
haha, I think NYU shouldn't be a problem at all for you as well as all the UC schools.
I know a lot of private California institutions emphasize legacies, I think that Stanford would be a great school to apply to!
Good luck to you and your future!
Chance back please! Fordham?! |

A 4.56 GPA is amazing, and so is a 34 on the ACT. That's really great. I'd say you have shots at all of them =)

So... amazing high school credentials, very good SAT, focused and longer-term ECs, and a 34 ACT? And you're a Legacy for Stanford? In my opinion, I would say you have very strong chances for Stanford, NYU, as well as all of the UCs. Brown and Columbia: good chances, but they will be more random without a legacy status, since those schools are always random for the non-hooked. As for Pomona, make sure you show a LOT of interest, they depend on that. If you are in love with that school, make sure and visit, if you haven't already. Good luck!

I'm taking the same AP's as you, got the EXACT same SAT score last time I took it, including sublevels, and got a 33. So I'm tagging this topic.

Stanford - Low reach, because of legacy
Berkeley - Low reach/Match
Pomona - Match
Brown - Low reach
Columbia - Low Reach
NYU - Match. Safety?
UCLA - Match
UCSD - Match.
UCD - Match
Cal Poly SLO - Match
Great stats, but IMHO (not sure) you don't seem to be taking many AP's... perhaps school limitation?

I think 8 APs are plenty. Or 9 if you count US Gov / Comp Politics as two separate tests.
