Chance me for several schools please

I will be applying to several schools this fall. My list goes as follows:

Reach: Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, University of Michigan
Target: Boston University
Safety: SUNY Stony Brook, Rochester Institute of Technology

I plan to major in engineering. Not sure which branch though (mechanical, chemical, electrical, etc).

My stats:
SAT - 1960 (CR-690, M-630, W-640)
I will be Retaking SAT later this month, and taking the Math II and Chemistry subject tests in November.
GPA - 92 (My school doesn't do the 4.0 scale)
Class Rank - 6 / 52
I am loading up on hard courses this year, including a number of college credit courses.

EC's (They suck, I know)
1 - Plenty of employment throughout high school (mostly food service)
2 - On the Envirothon team - went to states last year
3 - Occasional Volunteer Work (100-200 hours)
4 - Treasurer of the FBLA team
5 - Played soccer 9th and 10th
6 - Helped organize, and participated in a male beauty pageant held in my school.
7 - In the National Honor Society

My essays will be quite good, because I am a very good writer.

I think my chances for Cornell will be helped somewhat by the fact that both my parents went there. Thats actually where they met. So that has to count for something.

dont know too much about your safeties, but i would say you have pretty much nailed it. if you really want cornell, i would say get sats up to 2100, at least math and cr need to break 700 (thats what all competitive schools telll me. and applly ed to cornell.
carnegie melon is def a reach
boston university, high match

I will definitely up my SAT scores significantly. I didn't study very hard for it when I took it the first time, but I still got the highest score of all the kids in my school. So I'll up those.

Because finances are a factor for me, I am unwilling to apply Early Decision to any school.

Could anyone recommend some more matches with good engineering programs?
In the northeast preferably.
