1510 out of 1600 or 1510 out of 2400.

It makes a huge difference, because your gpa is low, especially for U Mich.

A 1510 out of 2400...no way for any of them!

Your gpa is B+ at best on a 10 pt scale, it is low for any of those schools and you are trying for state universities...Umich, UI an UT, they typically have state statutes that only allow 25-30% from OOS, which includes International. As an IS I would say with those stats you have no matches, maybe Drexel.

Sorry, but that is the reality...your SAT at 1500 means you are 500 avg on each part...it just won't fly for those schools...especially since you are a Brit, you should have a stronger handle in CR SAT and M than someone who is German...remember you are fighting for a small amount of admittance world wide on top of going against OOS nationally that is regulated to a % by the state.

Start looking private, you will have better odds...Take the ACT.
