Chance for Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech. Short & sweet.

Alright like the title says, ima keep it short n sweet. And don't be like OHHH you had different SAT scores elsewhere!!! cuz my bro uses this account too. For the school of engineering or watever the hell it's called, let's go:

Indian (curry, not tepee).
I live in Virginia.
Public High School.
School doesn't rank.

GPA: Weighted: around 3.7. yes, weighted. No clue about (and don't want to know) UW.
Note: A few C's strewn around, but only in AP's.

AP's: Eight. World History, Chemistry, English Lang, Statistics, Bio, APES, AB Calc, US Govt.

SAT: 660 CR, 750 M, 800 W.
SAT II: Chem: 680, Math2: 730, Math 1: 730.

Extracurrics:
Piano, 8 yrs, recitals, guild exams, all that crap.
Drums, 3 yrs.
Tennis, 4 yrs, awards with USTA, all that crap.

And here's what I think may or may not make an average person so average:

Internship with George Mason University, Systems Engineering Dept. 9 Weeks in summer 2009. Helped develop a software that makes quantitative decisions. It's a very career-oriented activity, and I milked it to no end in my essays.

Aight, blast me. I expect to feel demoralized after ur responses, lol.

Then no clue about your chances. You need to calculate it to have an idea of your chances.

Please evaluate me too:

My GPA in BSc Mechanical Engineering is 2.45/4, my TOEFL and GRE scores are 98/120 ann 1170 (V: 420, Q: 750, AWA: 3) respectively. Morevoer, I have 3 published books, 1 patent, 2 submitted papers, some software and programming proficiencies and a honor of OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER. How do you evaluate my chances to get admission in graduate studies of UC Riverside?

It's not about killing morale, it's about being able to give an honest chance. A 3.2 UW GPA and a 3.6 UW GPA will give you very different chances. Why not just use the weighted GPA? Because that varies greatly from school to school. Some schools have GPAs go as high as 6.0 and some schools have a maximum GPA of 4.5, so you can't compare them.

Regardless, all of those colleges are going to calculate your UW GPA, so why not figure it out for yourself? Would you apply to colleges without knowing your SAT score?
