Would UCLA / UC Berkeley accept me with these grades?

My SAT score (I've only taken it once so far) is a 1970. I am loaded with a lot of E/C's and leadership positions, over 400 service hours, and I'm in the top 4% of my class. So do I have a good chance of being admitted into either college? I have a bad feeling my junior year isn't going as well as I think it should. I'm excluding all + and -'s since UC GPA only cares about letter grades.

Freshman year: 3 Honors (I took the max my school offered)

Band - A/A
English 9 (H) - A/A
Spanish I - A/A
Theology 9 - A/A
Physics 9 (H) - A/A
Geometry (H) - A/A
Rhetoric - A/A

Sophomore year: 4 Honors, 1 AP (I took the max my school offered. We hardly have any AP classes.)

Band - A/A
English 10 (H) - A/A
Spanish II (H) - A/A
Theology 10 - A/A
Chemistry (H) - A/A
Algebra II (H) - A/A
World History (AP) - B/A

Junior year: 5 Honors, 1 AP (I took the max my school offered. We hardly have any AP classes.)

Band - A
English 11 (H) - B (it was a B+)
Spanish III (H) - A
Theology 11 (H) - B
Biology 11 (H) - B (it was a B+)
Math Analysis (H) - A
Chemistry (AP) - A

How bad does this look?? I was very upset when I had 2 B+s that couldn't get to the A range. I know it might seem like I'm whining a lot and complaining about something really small, but I REALLY want to get into either UCLA or UC Berkeley. Can anyone calculate my w / uw GPA too? I keep getting different numbers.

whoa dude, no offense, but how'd you get into those two colleges with 1680 SAT? are you really good at sports or did you have some kind of award(s) that made you stand out?

Maybe because this person wasn't preoccupied with his SATs and actually pursued something they liked. Not everyone in the world is a good standardized test taker and colleges know this very well. With this year being the year where almost anyone can score 700s on each section of their SATs, colleges want something that will add to the diversity of their campus. So there are plenty of other reasons he may have been admitted. SATs don't tell the whole story.

Honestly, I think the only thing that really matters is whether you're from out of state or not when applying to the UC schools. Whatever you end up doing I wish you luck! I almost applied to Berkeley, UCLA and UCSB but because I was out of state and didn't do very well on the subject tests (was going through a very rough time when I took them but hey, no excuses.) Anyways, definitely give it a shot and I hope you get in!
