i am a junior in high school right now looking to go into the academy. I have a 4.1 gpa (because i take honors and a.p courses), probably around a 3.75 unweighted at the lowest, number 64 in my class of 531, double varsity athlete (i attended states my first year for both sports and am captain of one team), in a law enforcement academy at my high school, and i am involved in various volunteer groups. However, my SAT scores were lacking (i am not a very good cumulative test taker) and only scored about a 1650 out of 2400. This was my first shot without studying so hopefully next time i take them it will be higher. Any opinions on how much of a chance i stand and/or things i can do to make me seem more appealing to admissions? Thanks!
