When is the deadline for the Leaders App? I got an email saying that they were going to start reviewing apps next week, does this mean that i have to have submitted it already? I can't untill i get my SAT results from the october exam.
Is anyone else applying with the Leaders App? Do i have to call collegeboard and ask them to send my scores for me?

I believe that the Leaders App is a regular decision application -- you shouldn't need to get it in before the RD deadline. The nice thing about the Leaders App is that is has a quick turnaround time, you receive a decision in only a few weeks. So, in that way, it's similar to rolling admission. But you don't need to be in a big hurry. Is there no deadline listed on it?

Oh actually I found it! The deadline is Dec. 1st. So I have time....but not that much.
But thank you! Tell your son good luck! (is he as stressed as me about apps? is this normal...?)

Haha! Of course it's normal! It shows you are driven, and want to do as well as possible on your apps. I think both my S and I will just be happy when he is done with this phase. He has received two acceptances already, so I don't think the waiting phase will be too torturous.

We love Willamette! You know that if you received the Leaders Application that you are really on their radar so I bet you have a very good chance. Good luck!

I'll confirm the Dec 1st deadline. Good luck everyone who is submitting it. I, too, am waiting for SAT scores to be sent! Makes me nervous!

They sent it to me in the mail, and for some reason i didnt see the deadline when i first read it over, but it was there- Dec. 1st.
I think they have to send you the leaders app, but u can apply ea...the deadline is also dec. 1st i think.

I'm gonna crash this thread with another question related to the Leaders Application...

I sent mine in through the mail (but also have it filled out but obviously not sent, online...) maybe a month ago. My counselor has not done my recommendation yet, but transcript, test scores, etc, should all have been received by now. I still get the weekly emails prompting me to apply.

My question is if anyone who applied has gotten some confirmation that their materials (if incomplete?) were received. I plan on calling Willamette tonight, but I don't want to cut it too close to Dec 1st or bug them unnecessarily. My app was ready in October, haha... I wanted to be prompt with this.

They won't mind if you "bug" them. D had to do that last year to make sure they had received everything. Best of Luck! D chose another campus but we loved WU!

I got a confirmation...I sent in the application online, and they sent me an email saying they got it, but I still need send in my transcript and recs...etc.
Just send in the electronic one

My bad, I'm going to crash the thread as well! I'm reading the previous posts and noticing that there are people talking about an online application. Is this the Leader's App online, or the Common App?? I'm starting to get worried, I hope someone replies! I just sent my Leader's App in the mail!
