Ack! I wasn't expecting Williams to send stuff to people so soon... I'll have to go obsessively check my mail now.
Of course, I live in MA, so chances are if I had something in the March 20 postmark I would've gotten it by now. >.<

woo hoo!!! i just got my acceptance letter from williams. I totally wasn't expecting anything for at least another week. i can't believe williams is going to fly us out there on an all expenses paid trip!!! I don't know about everyone else, but i'm definitely planning on going. I hope to see you there.
As for my stats, I'm a 17 yr. old white male from a rural area of California and I'm from a low income family. I think it was probably the combination of my demographic, solid academics and extracurriculars that got me in. Compared to some of the stats I've seen posted on these discussions, I didn't think mine were that great, but I guess it did the trick.
SAT: 770 CR, 690 W, 650 M
SATII: 670 US History, 650 Literature
GPA: 4.3 W
Rank: 4/166
Letters: Excellent
Essay: Pretty good
Extracurricular: President of Key Club, 3 yrs Varsity soccer, 4 yrs varsity tennis, other community service

You're DC? I'm Texas. I'm worried because I think I saw another Texas person already get a letter!

well my mail doesn't usually get here until 5 or 6 pm, and it's 5:30... so I might still get the letter today. (I hope so!)

I think early notification of decisions(not early write) are first sent to URMs, especially to those who applied for FA.
So no worries......
But I definitely should be worrying, since I also happen to be an URM .....haha -_- Do you guys think that they will pay for all-expense paid trip to Williams for international students too?

My non-URM friend recently got hers. Her brother attends Williams, perhaps that's a factor.
I haven't gotten anything, although I've always been expecting a rejection.

No, not Korean, haha. And we're not competing, I live near Williams and, from my knowledge, "local" students are considered in a different pool.
But good luck to you!

Supposedly, although I really doubt I'm getting in.
