My chances? (brief profile)

Hey guys let me know what you think; I'll just stick to the basics

White male (NJ)
GPA: 3.90 uw, with most rigorous courses etc.
Sat: 2330 (730r 800m 800w)
Math II: 780
PHysics: 740
US History: 720

Varsity XC, winter/spring track 9-12, captain (12)
Habitat for Humanity
National Honor Society
National Merit Finalist

Class Rank: n/a, 25/850?

Your stats are great,

unfortunately, so are lots of others who are applying.
If you haven't, you should contact the Head XC coach and the indoor/outdoor Head Coach & possibly the asst. coach for your event(s). You can stay over and met the team. It can't hurt if the coaches put in a good word for you, even if it's not ED.

If you have family or teachers who are alum, be sure to ask them to write a letter. (Having alumni relatives/friends doesn't necessarily get you in; on the other hand, a well written letter by someone who really knows may very well help you.)

Compelling reasons as to why Williams is the right fit for you and why Williams needs you in the next frosh class.
